The findings come from digital marketing software and services company, Searchmetrics, which analyzed tweets-per-minute activity around a variety of topics during Super Bowl night.
Twitters data shows there were more than 24.9 million tweets about the game and halftime show on Sunday. Many advertisers invest millions of dollars on commercials and sponsorship during the event and our analysis gives a snapshot of the excitement generated on Twitter on the night, said Marcus Tober, CTO and founder of Searchmetrics, whose Enterprise SEO platform helps digital marketers track and measure their search and social media marketing activity.
