Hakan Akan : You can identify more than one company on one CWIZ. You can even design the opening messages for each of them by using your previous recordings or the audio files included in the CWIZ. It is very difficult, if not impossible, for a user to do most of these in classic systems.
turk-internet.com : Who is your target client group? Who can benefit from the CWIZ?
Hakan Akan : Actually, CWIZ is developed to maintain the basic communication requirements of the medium-sized companies. We aimed to provide a new generation communication tool without inflicting costly investments for the audio-visual communication needs of the offices below 100 employees.
Each new feature we implemented on CWIZ, was created and integrated considering the functionality. Basicly, the main general expense of a company is the phone bills. In order to control this expenditure, first a reporting system is required. And to this effect, generally additional cards and hardwares are needed. But all the same, the target can not be achieved.
However, CWIZ already include the reporting service and such additional features. Thus, if the company was a newly established one, the required installation of a mail server or the need for a mail outsourcing, would not be necessary. There is an integrated mail server
in CWIZ.
We can give a lot more such examples. We consider that we created a platform bringing utmost advantages to the medium-sized companies which constitute the bulk of the economy, in their domestic and abroad communication means. We will enrich this platform by new services in time. Thus, CWIZ is not just a package.
turk-internet.com : I guess so… A while ago, you mentioned DID and CWIZ to CWIZ connection. These words evoke directly the notion of VoIP. What is the situation and the aim of CWIZ in that field? Does CWIZ offer VoIP solutions?
Hakan Akan : Essentially, CWIZ is a product, and our aim is to sell our product but we must mention certain advantages as well. When we were designing CWIZ, of course we targeted to create a product that can benefit from every advantage of VoIP. In fact, CWIZ bears the attributes enabling it to use both PSTN and IP grids.
But we didn’t limit it with classic features. The personal meetings and surveys we performed during the design of the product, enabled us to have a wide perspective on the subject. Thus, we are considering CWIZ as the peak level of certain WEB services expected to come in the future.
The overall design and functions of CWIZ, support both the Standard VoIP features and the services performed on VoIP base. Thus, one can make a phone call through CWIZ from everywhere offering an internet access. To this effect, It is not important whether the client uses internet, external operators, or active UMTH operators. Literally, the user will choose his own way.
turk-internet.com : Which kind of companies especially can benefit from VoIP feature?
Hakan Akan : CWIZ is very advantageous for companies which have more than one branch, and communicate frequently with abroad.
Furthermore, CWIZ is an appropriate solution for organizations having subsidiaries and frequently communicating with certain places. Mostly, the central offices of companies having subsidiaries and service chains, are located in stanbul. The bulk of the communication is made between the central service and the related buyer company. Due to the inter-city character of these calls, the costs are high. The subsidiaries can realize their calls with central office and the other subsidiaries through CWIZ. Thus, the relations could be kept more lively, the commitment of the subsidiaries could be increased, and a serious amount of the phone cost could be lowered.
The new released modems with audio ports implemented on them, are facilitate the wide usage of such connections.
turk-internet.com : At the moment, CWIZ is targeting clients from business environment. Do you have any plan to enter the individual market as well? If so, what kind of a product you intend to offer?
Hakan Akan : If we consider CWIZ as a project, CWIZ Business, was the first step of that project. The market is so fresh and open to future developments. I think we must take advantage of this and contribute to the widening of the market. That’s why, in the near future, we will begin to offer services targeting individual people. Moreover, we will not limit the services within range of VoIP, but enrich them with additional services required for VoIP that can be used with this platform. The most important of these, is to enable business and individual users to communicate via IP without affecting the business models of the corporations.
turk-internet.com : Can we name the the long-term goal of CWIZ, as creating a, “CWIZ Community”?
Hakan Akan : Time will show that. First of all, the usage of new generation communication means should become widespread. As CWIZ, we intend to establish a brand and example in that field. We do not aim to provide limited services within a closed network, we want to offer advantages to people and corporations using CWIZ. When we achieve this goal, a community will be established “per se”. However, as I have stated before, this will not be a closed network.
