Divorce-Online launches new way to pay for divorce from just 34

Divorce-Online.Co.UK the UK leader in online legal services for divorcing couples, today announced that it was launching an innovative payment plan to help couples afford the costs associated with getting divorced.

About the Divorce-Online EasyPay payment plan

Research in November 2009 by online law firm Law Options found that of 3,000 people interviewed for a legal costs survey, more than 60 per cent said that the legal process of divorce scared them with over one third of married couples allegedly put off leaving their partner due to their lack of knowledge about divorce proceedings.

Divorce-Online immediately decided to bring forward their plans to introduce a novel, interest free payment plan to help couples spread the cost of their divorce over a period of 6 months.

Using their credit or debit card and HSBC secure e-payments system the customer can pay for their divorce fees from just 34.00 a month and can also pay for their court fees over a two month period.

Divorce-Online already charges very low prices, when compared to a traditional Solicitor but realised that with many couples struggling in the recession, the more options open to them would allow them to move on with their lives without the heavy burden of a loan or decimating any savings they may have.

Toni Freeman Client Liaison Manager for the company said that “we receive many enquiries where our clients have said they simply cannot afford to go ahead with their divorce, even at our low prices, and that many of them were having to save for months before being able to proceed with their divorce cases. EasyPay from Divorce-Online gives them the ability to proceed when they choose to go ahead, rather than when their bank manager will allow them.”
