European Advertising Award Epica, will take place for the 19th time this year, with the name “Epica stanbul 2005”. Finalists elected in November by the chief editors and reporters of 32 European countries’ marketing communication magazines will receive their awards with the shiny ceremony organized on January 20th 2006 at Ritz Carlton Hotel.
Advertisers from various countries of the world will participate at the event that is being organized by Marketing Trkiye. The theme of Epica Istanbul 2005, “City and Creativity” was inspired from Istanbul’s historic nature of creativity, referring to this ancient city’s background of being a cradle of different civilizations and religions throughout history. Istanbul’s increasing brand value will also be emphasized at the ceremonies.
Turkiye is also one of the finalist countries among the other 45 participating countries. TBDA/Istanbul’s “jumping rope” shopping bag, prepared for YKM retail chain, will also receive an award at the ceremonies.
