Jackpot247 Comment on Survey Results on UK Mobile Gambling Habits

Online gambling experts, Jackpot247, have commented on recent survey results on the subject of mobile gambling habits in the UK.

According to a recent survey conducted by mobile gambling company Probability and reported on by iGamingBusiness, a massive 87% of players in the UK would recommend mobile entertainment gambling games to their friends, family members and colleagues. This comes hand in hand with the revelation that 26.9% of participants in the survey admit to playing and betting on their mobile devices more than three times per week.

Michael Byrne, Probabilitys chief commercial officer, said: Real money gambling on mobile is now a mainstream and social activity in the UK where 70% of adults are already known to participate in gaming and betting activities regularly. With that level of ubiquity amongst consumers, its no surprise that real-money gaming is attracting increased attention as a low risk opportunity for non-gaming businesses to increase revenues, engage and entertain customers.

Doing this on mobile through smart phones and tablets is now the preferred entry point for the majority of players in the UK.

Jackpot247, an online casino company offering games to play both online or through a mobile device, have responded to these statistics and celebrated their indication of the growth in mobile gambling. A spokesperson for the company said:

We all know that mobile gambling has been expanding and gaining popularity for some time now, and its fantastic that this growth has been reflected in the opinions of gamblers themselves. The fact that existing players feel confident recommending games to their friends and family means that the industry can only grow even further over time.

Jackpot247 designs, creates and operates live roulette games broadcast on ITV and Sky channel 86, using casino certified equipment. With the best range of online casino games, the firm also provides live black jack online, roulette, poker, arcade games and Jackpot 247 casino slots available to play online and on mobile, with a view to providing an authentic casino experience to the home. The company encourages responsible gambling and only provides games manufactured to the highest standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
