January sale madness hits broadband and digital TV

“The UK’s biggest providers are falling over themselves to entice consumers to sign up to their digital TV, broadband and home phone services as they enter the January sale spirit with a vengeance.” says Charlie Ponsonby, CEO Simplifydigital, the free and impartial sales advisory service accredited by Ofcom, which specializes in helping customers find the best digital TV, broadband and home phone deals.

These New Year deals make it a very attractive time to buy – whether you are looking for a simple low cost broadband package, or a top of the range digital TV, broadband and home phone bundle deal.

O2 broadband for example, which is the UK’s fastest selling broadband service with a great reputation for reliability and customer service have just launched their best ever offer of 3 months FREE when you sign up to their Premium and Pro packages.

The popular O2 Premium Broadband package costs 9.79 per month for O2 customers (and 14.68 per month for all other customers). So the January deal offers a saving of just under 30. This super-fast package offers up to 20 Mb/sec download speed (subject to location).

The same deal of 3 months FREE is being offered on the O2 Broadband Pro package, designed for home office use. This package costs 17.13 per month for O2 customers and 22.02 per month for all other customers. It also offers super fast, up to 20 Mb/sec download speeds, plus prioritized customer service suited for business users.

Sky has also entered into the January sale spirit, with a bundle deal on their “triple play” of digital TV, broadband and home phone services. This “Smaller Bills – bigger Thrills” deal launched just after Christmas and comes with a total saving of 60, consisting of:

  • free line rental for 3 months worth 30 (and 10 per month thereafter)
  • free Sky Broadband Max (Sky’s premium 16 Mb/sec, unlimited service) for 3 months worth 30, (and 10 per month thereafter).
