Kavi Enternasyonel was founded in 1993 focusing on consultancy and network installations. Today, the company is a
distributor of security and network management products throughout Turkey and is the only distributor in the Turkish
market to sell only software. In 2009, Kavi changed its corporate name from “Kavi Bilgisayar” to “Kavi Enternasyonel” and
aims to expand its reseller channel and region to Turkic Republics and the Middle East.
“Our relationship with GFI began in 1996 when we became a partner. We are working with GFI because their product
range has a price/performance advantage and is mostly targeted at the SMB market. Another important point is that
they are always willing to understand the local market’s needs and use feedback from the market to boost business and
achieve more success. That we are able to work with GFI as a team has also been important,” Ercan Bizsel, Assistant
General Manager at Kavi Enternasyonel, said.
GFI and Kavi are working closely together to establish even stronger business links in the region and to successfully
promote GFI products in the Turkish market. An intensive program is under way with Kavi to give exposure to GFI in the
market and to push the brand among enterprises in the region.
“This agreement, without doubt, will increase sales of GFI’s products in Turkey; the IT channel in this region is solid and very experienced, and they are inundated with offers from various vendors; Kavi’s role will be to identify the markets and promote GFI as the ideal solution,” said Simon Azzopardi, VP EMEA Sales.
