The deal with Vanrise Solutions will see the two companies join forces to provide a complete turnkey solution based on the Teles.iSWITCH IP/TDM solution and Vanrise’s TABS (“Telecom Automation and Billing System”) advanced billing platform across the region.
The partnership is further proof of Teles’ growing Middle Eastern footprint. Last November the Berlin-based NGN telecoms solution provider opened a dedicated Teles flagship showroom in a prime Dubai Internet City location with local country partner GMS VoIPMONSTER. And in the last 12 months, Teles has also been progressively stepping up operational activity, having successfully commissioned and deployed in a number of systems beyond the company’s initial regional forecast.
Teles’ new partner, Vanrise Solutions, is one of the leading integrated solutions providers in the region, focusing its activities firmly in the IP-centric voice and data solutions market space to unleash what it calls “the power of IP” for best-in-class carrier solutions delivery. The company’s TABS platform is a powerful billing solution designed to optimise rate, sales, purchasing, invoicing and carrier management in retail and wholesale scenarios. A fully redundant solution, TABS efficiently handles large and growing call traffic volumes, allowing seamless CDR and revenue statistic management.
Teles Middle East Regional Sales Manager Frank Koyro said: “We already have a very strong partner in the United Arab Emirates in GSM VoIPMONSTER. This exciting new partnership allows us not only to further ramp up TELES business activities in the Middle East, but also to offer a complete turnkey solution in the immediate region and beyond.”
In other news, Teles announced that it will also be present at the MECOM 2007 (Middle East Telecommunications) trade fair in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, this month (22nd-25th April) with both partners. “We are delighted to continue our successful association with GSM VoiPMONSTER and to introducing our new partner Vanrise Solutions at the MECOM event” added Koyro. “At Teles, we believe that it’s important to have strong local partners in the region in order to build on past successes as well as meet the exciting new challenges of one of the most dynamic and fast-moving markets in the world today.”
