Turk Telekom will rent data period from the wholesale tariff to those administrators who has signed a task/privilege agreement with the telecommunications foundation and administrators who has telecommunications license or a common permit. In addition to that for the individual users there will be a discount in different ranges for the data prices. The new Telekom tariff will be valid after the first of June.

This new tariff encloses those periods which were reserved for the special use of their customers through the Turk Telekom network and in addition to that they don’t use any numbers in the powerhouse. Moreover, the tariffs enclose those periods, which define point-to-point fixed and continuous communication periods and rented period data systems which can enable data transmission in numerical or analogue form.

By dividing the data periods into two groups, namely wholesale and retail, Turk Telekom undergo a price increase in the low speed periods and a price discounted in the high speed periods. The data periods, which can be rented on the same powerhouse for a 64Kbit/sec speed, have a 51 percent and 21 percent increased in their price tariffs for the retail and wholesale customers. On the same powerhouse while the 64Kbit/sec speed old tariff was 74 million TL, beginning the first of June, the new tariff will increase to 112 million TL for retail customers and to 90 million TL for the wholesale customers. It is also a striking point that in the data periods there is a discount in high speeds.

Turk Telekom announced that those users trying to benefit from the wholesale tariffs should provide at least 50 pieces of period and capacity renting conditions equal to 50×2 Mbit/sec. Besides, the wholesale periods’ total speed should be at least equal to 102.4 kbyte/sec. Retail tariffs will apply for those users who are not in the wholesale tariff. The discount range’s has been organized according to the period number (1 and above) and the duration of the agreement (1,3,5 years).

In the below schemes, the rented period connection and transfer fees are arranged for distances which are under 4 km. For all the meters over 4km pulled extra, in addition to the connection and transfer fee, customers should pay 15.579.856 TL per meter for fiber cables and 13.529.875 per meter for copper cables.

Besides this, for the VPN feature (user side administration module) there will be no port fee and if the rented period subscribers pay their June fee before its due date, then there will be a refund in the collected fees.
