“Vodafone’s Business Email Plus enables us to support all of our business customers in improving their productivity both in the office and on the road,” said Chris Robbins, Vodafone Czech Republic’s Vice President for Marketing. “By working with Visto, Vodafone has achieved the flexibility to offer our customers exactly the service that they want, instantaneous access to email, calendaring, and contacts, on the device of their choice.”
The Visto Mobile platform is designed for a network operator to offer a self-branded solution for subscribers to send and receive email, contact and calendar updates in real-time, using the device of their choice.
Visto Mobile supports all popular business handsets and platforms, and all leading email systems, including Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino and Internet-based POP3 and IMAP4 mail. With a comprehensive security architecture, data is encrypted end-to-end, and there is no requirement for the customer to make changes to their existing security settings.
“Vodafone Czech Republic’s selection of Visto Mobile is further evidence of Vodafone’s determination to lead the development of this market for mobile email,” said Frederic Aries, senior vice president and general manager, EMEA for Visto Corporation. “Visto has removed the barriers to the mass adoption of mobile email by business. Visto Mobile is a secure business offering which combines the broadest device choice with the ease of operation and management essential to the growth of this industry.”
The Visto solution is being marketed by Vodafone in the Czech Republic under the Business Email Plus brand. The service is immediately available to Vodafone Czech Republic subscribers.
